Bestfriends will stick together... No matter what the circumstances will be.
It has been ages ago since I last seen my childhood best bud, who had turned to be the Bez.
Though I had a day of classes last Saturday, I joined a debut, and rushed to catch up with Bestie. We spent an hour at the swimming pool laughing at ridiculous and childish jokes which were shared by her cousins. After the pool was closed, we hiked up to an elevated part of the village to reach our cabin. We fixed ourselves and placed things in order like clothes and bed arrangement to fit everyone in the cabin.
After having things settled, we hiked back down to the main lobby to connect to the network and contact a few friends for the next day's plans. We kind of stayed for an hour then went back to the cabin.
The cabin was soooooooo cooooooooold. I was dying there. Laugh out Loud. We settled to have the parallel beds for the both of us that night and we ended up sleeping beside each other to accommodate everyone. Well, that wasn't a big deal anyway... it was kind of fun!
At seven in the morning, we woke up and fixed ourselves like getting ready for breakfast, checkout and the bonding along our classmates. After getting a shower, we went down to the restaurant, near the gym, to have our breakfast. Man, the food is GOOD! I had fried rice, TONS of corned beef, veggies, sausage and a freshly squeezed juice. Can I take back the food enumeration part?
So, after breakfast, we went back to the lobby and checked some of the notifications we may need to be aware of before going to the bonding phase of the day.
An hour later, we went back to the cabin and had makeups then a photoshoot (sort of).
Fast forward.
We were at the mall before eleven. I toured bestie around and had a Japanese Ice Cream called Mochi/Mochiko. It was cute. We went to the makeup store as well, bought some for me. Something for the SMOKEY EYES effect. Love it!
After roaming around waiting for the others, we decided to have nails at nail-a-holic. We both had a perfect French Manicure that could last to three weeks to a month. It was the gel polish. Downside, but, it costs a lot and it took us THREE hours to have it done since the gel machine was limited.
Fast Forward.
We were at the nail shop when our friends arrived. I know we caused nuisance to the other customers for being so noisy. Well, it's a phase in everyone's life so forget it.
We had lunch at TGIF with the Astronaut whom I wished to be British. Laugh out loud. Man the food was awesome! I had a non-Filipino dish which basically meant that I didn't eat rice. To make the story short, we had fun and made something unusual: pretended that it was bestie's birthday.
To our surprise, the crew started singing. You have no idea how I wanted to literally LAUGH OUT LOUD.
Not long after our late lunch, we went to roam around the mall again. I treated them for a photoshoot at the studio to have something to remind us of our craziness.
While waiting for an hour for our pictures, we had TITANIC ICE CREAM!!! Bestie and I missed this! We had this Ice Cream, like what, TWELVE years ago at a second grade closing treat by our beloved teacher.
We again pretended that it was bestie's birthday. Believe me, I literally almost rolled on the floor with laughter. Only that I rolled on the couch covering my face and with the throw pillows while the crew was dancing and singing and wishing bestie a happy birthday.
Photos are available at my G+ account to a limited audience.
Love Lots,
Ethel ♥
